We have posted the fifth beta of You Control 1.6 to address an issue introduced in beta 4.

This addresses issues that have been found with the You Control and Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5). We believe this release addresses all of the known issues with Leopard. While this release is primarily focused on updates to address Leopard compatibility issues, it also contains some updates for Tiger users as well. Please refer to the list of fixes for what has changed.

Weather:

• Fixed an issue introduced in b4 that could cause menus containing the Weather module to not be able to be opened

Tunes:

• New Feature: Users can now create their own controller sets; contact the support email address for more information
• New Feature: Added new default controller set (Leopard)
• Fixed an issue that could cause the Finder to launch when viewing album art

General:

• Assorted minor bug fixes

Fixes in this build

Weather:

• Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when new weather data is updated

Disk Monitor:

• Fixed an intermittent bug that could crash You Control when displaying the Disk Monitor module in the menu bar

Memory Monitor:

• Now properly displays the amount of memory for systems with more than 3GB of memory

Tunes:

• Fixed an issue that could cause the Finder to launch when changing tracks

Address Book:

• Fixed a bug that could crash You Control for certain kinds of Address Book entries

General:

• Assorted minor bug fixes

We have a double release today; the final releases of both You Control: Fonts 1.3 and You Control: Tunes 1.6 are now available. Both of these updates bring several Leopard compatibility fixes. These updates are recommended for all Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard users.

In addition, Leopard-updated versions of You Control and You Control: Desktops are in the final stages of beta testing and are expected to be released this month.
