You Control 1.5.1 beta 2 Available

The second beta release of You Control 1.5.1 is now available. This release is primarily targeted at improving functionality in the Pasteboard module, but several of the top-reported issues from users have also been addressed.

Here’s what’s been changed in this release:

Pasteboard:

  • Fixed a bug introduced in b1 that prevented setting hot keys on pasteboard entries.
  • Fixed a bug in which the preview for items copied from Microsoft Word would contain extraneous html.
  • Improved compatibility with Typinator to ignore Typinator expansions on the pasteboard.

File System:

  • Fixed a bug that could cause the preview of some HTML files to crash the application.

Calendar:

  • Improved parsing of invalid events that could cause the application to crash.

News Reader:

  • Fixed a bug in which some links were not loaded properly when chosen in the menu.

General:

  • “Stop Engine” option changed to “Quit Engine”. In the configuration application, this option has been moved to the File menu.
  • Added “Always Show Quit Engine” option to the Preferences tab of the configuration application.
  • Assorted minor bug fixes
